The Medical Physics Unit in the Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology at McGill University wishes to attract excellent candidates to be considered for a Tenure Track Faculty position in Medical Physics.

Although our goal is to attract the best possible candidate overall, we are primarily looking for a radiation oncology physicist.

His/her research record should preferably be in brachytherapy physics with the emphasis on developing technology to enable modulated brachytherapy and with a portfolio of innovation and market translation of radiation physics detector technologies.

 Qualifications and Education requirements

  • PhD in the field in Physics (preferably), Medical Physics or related field
  • Significant post-doctoral research experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience and demonstrated academic accomplishments in radiation therapy physics, brachytherapy physics and imaging
